I am June Jeffrey
I have always had a passion to assist people that have been through some sort of Trauma in their lives and to help them overcome it. I ventured into different study areas there was always something that happened in my life that made me realize that I must follow the road my heart wants to take me.
I have always believed that the knowledge that you gain in studying, is knowledge that no one can take away from you, and you can always use it in the work you do with adults and children that you work with every day and in the future.
You are the person you are today because of past experiences and choices;
and what you have learned from the past can help you be a better you in the future.
June Jeffrey

We are all different and we all took a different path to get to where we are now, therefore, what works for one person may not work for another.

The purpose of personal counselling is to guide you through a process of self-discovery and change.
My approach to counseling is an integrated one; I believe in the value and uniqueness of each individual and believe that each individual has the innate ability to resolve their difficulties given appropriate support.
Although I offer session to any age group, I am passionate about children and enabling them to be the best they can be. I have a keen interest in empowering young children; equipping them with the skills and knowledge they will need to make decisions. I offer guidance, reassurance and support to teens enabling them to navigate through any challenges they may face.
I strive to provide a safe, accepting environment and a place of confidentiality, mutual trust and respect.
When necessary, I make appropriate referrals to other mental health professionals if the issue is outside my area of expertise and where I feel a client would benefit more.
